IC3’s mission is to serve as a vehicle to receive, develop, and refer criminal complaints regarding
the rapidly expanding arena of cyber crime. The IC3 gives the victims of cyber crime a convenient and
easy-to-use reporting mechanism that alerts authorities of suspected criminal or civil violations.
For law enforcement and regulatory agencies at the federal, state, local and international level, IC3
provides a central referral mechanism for complaints involving Internet related crimes.
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) system in the U.S. extends across the nation; coast-to-coast, and in
Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. Since the founding of the first BBB in 1912, the BBB system has proven
that the majority of marketplace problems can be solved fairly through the use of voluntary self-regulation
and consumer education.
A dentist billed me for $250.00 stating that insurance has paid their portion so balance is due. When I called my insurance company the claim was denied because the dentist office did not bill in a timely manner. I received two bills asking for payment. I have the my insurance company EOB and the dentist bill. I work in the medical field and I knew better to check the claim because the date of medical services was 4/9/18 and I didn’t get a dental bill until around March 2019 and the 2nd bill dated 4/24/19. I did call the dental office initially and she demeaned me but would have a Tiffany call me back, which she did and left a message confirming that I owed nothing.
I am so angry about this because elderly people get ripped off constantly. Face and Jaw Clinic in Fargo is huge and tons of patients. Who else is getting scammed? This is fraud!!! I want something other than a slap on the hand to prevent this from happening to vulnerable people.
